Lion Drinking Fountain Project
Recently we have helped contribute to the Kids park adjacent to Riverside Park in Bonita Springs Recently now name " LIONS PRIDE PARK ".
The feedback from the parents and even kids has made all of it very rewarding. Many stories have come in
how much the kids love it and the parents have a nice clean, safe place to bring them.
We were able to donate a large sum of money towards the park. Once we were able to open it, we thought it needed
a little something. Perhaps a plaque, or sign? or maybe a water fountain? 
Than we found something that simply calls to us. A Lion drinking fountain !
Only problem is, we used our budget on the important things like;
the safe equiptment, seating, landscape and the basic layout and structures.
We only found this very special drinking foutain recently. We would very much like to provide this for the park, however we need your help.
This Lion Foutain is 5' tall and is A.D.A compliant, These fountains are built to last.
They are created with fiberglass and will easily withstand normal wear and tear as well as the occasional climber.
The fountains come with high quality ADA compliant plumbing fixtures.
These fountains are also topcoated with an industrial grade paint to ensure the finish will last for years to come.
We would really appreciate any assistance with this project.

LIONS AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS
LIONS AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS
The Bonita Springs Lions Club recently awarded $8,000 scholarships to each of the following Estero High School students.
Andrew Waterhouse, Morgan Amore, and Michelle Crowe were awarded the scholarships based on academic excellence, financial need, character and leadership.

A note form Miranda
Miranda was one of four students that were awarded an $8,000 scholarship last Spring. She is majoring in elementary education and will soon be having a positive influence upon the lives of America's children. Miranda will also be working on Saturday mornings at our Pancake Breakfast. Whether it is serving pancakes or serving children, she has caught the spirit WE SERVE!
She recently sent a letter to Lion E.F. (Whitey) Ellis to share with the club:
"I just wanted to let you know that I completed my first semester of college at Florida Gulf Coast University and my final grades are all A's and one B. Thank you so much for granting me the Lions Club Scholarship."

How you can help
There are many ways people can assist a local Lions Club.
How about becoming a lion yourself ?
Not only by donations of money, but by supporting the many fund raising programs Lions Clubs are involved in.
Please enjoy the time out and attend these programs. Every dollar is used toward the community and benefits a lot of people.
The Lions Club sometimes puts on a show, perhaps a noted speaker, music, singing etc.
While a lot of clubs do a pancake breakfast, market, or food drive.
Please purchase tickets to these wonderful and fun events to show support.
You can also show support if you drop off your old reading or prescription glasses, we`ll even take sunglasses.
We are always very grateful for any donations you may be able to contribute. You can send it to us
or drop by and say hello at the Lions Center. Soon we will offer an option to place donations right here on the website.
Please remember to come out and see us at any of our many programs and events.
